Facing major game-speed glitch

Hi,
I've been playing FIFA 11 since yesterday and am now facing a massive glitch. (xbox 360)
Basically, the first couple of matches I played (gamespeed by default was normal) the pace of the game was slow and realisitc.
Everythings going fine, 4 or 5 matches on I decide to play an International friendly. That's where the trouble starts! I start the match to see that the gamespeed has increased a good 2-3 times the normal gamespeed is supposed to be, it's almost like an Arcade game, even the ref's movements are fast.
I start another couple of matches and they too play with the same increased game-speed.
So FINALLY i create a new FIFA 11 profile and things are back to normal...BUT ONLY FOR ANOTHER COUPLE OF MATCHES.. and the problem starts again!
I surely cannot be the only one with this problem! It's ruining the whole game for me! Please try playing some international friendlies and tell me whether it affects your game-speed.
Oh and BTW I did go to the menu's and tried changing the gamespeed to slow, but it made little to no difference. There is clearly something wrong.
Cheers.|||Sounds like this has to do with the patch released yesterday(?) - I didn't play until after the patch was already downloaded to my game so I can't speak to the differences but the gamespeed does seem slightly quicker than the demo. I'm not sure this isn't the result of EA tightening up the game, like response times. It's not a glitch though, unless you're experiencing something totally different of course.|||my game speed is like this as well :)
