Hi guys, how are you?
Look, i´ve been reading here lately a lot of things about jockey, but honestly, i dont know what it is!
Can someone please tell me what means jockey?
Btw, when i play h2h, i notice that the players of my opponents team are always near me, pressing me a lot.. I cant even breath lol, how is it possible?
Do i need to change the value on my custom tactics? Is that it?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english!|||Jockying is one of the shoulder buttons on the controller, depending on if you use normal or alternative controls and also what system your playing on.
It's useful because it 'slows' down your defender and you can use it to slow down the opposition attacker.
For example if they are sprinting down the wing don't just sprint after them as you'll probably end up running right past them if they cut back or cut in. If you run after them and then when your close jockey along side them then they have to think harder with what they are going to do with the ball.
I hope this helps, actually finding it diffiicult to put it into words.
As for your other question about pressing - that is a custom tactic thing but I don't use it so can't help you there.
I'd actually urge you not to use it to, as pressure abusers su€k donkeyballs.|||Jockeying is when you stand off the player with the ball and is mainly used by full backs. You don't Jockey when in the centre of midfield as there are to many options to cover. When someone is running down the byline getting close to your box and the corner flag, you jockey there and box them in - this makes it much harder for them to get past you - although the downside is it is easier for them to put a cross in.
