online problem. HELP plz...

i was winning a match online, mexico3- chelsea 0. the game froze for ten minutes after a throw on on the 87th minute. Was it on purpose? then i quit then i found out i actually lost 3-0. then after that i was portugal the next guy i played was man u. he was winning 1-0 after 13 mins. then he quit and i lost altogether. so why did that happen?
