Shifted forward in the calendar this season, this is nothing but an E.A money making machine for the rich by the rich!!! If you have pockets full of money then you will love this all new way of blowing your stack. For the rest of us we have to play pauper whilst E.A dreams up all new ways for a player to be simply cheated by the A.I. If unpassable goalkeepers and untackleable AI players aren't enough they will just start off with just 3 tournaments v CPU and make the prizes so very very poor that you are straining at your cash card just to get into the game. The mere fact that the first tournament carrying a prize still only half the price of a SILVER PACK has to be played at LEGENDARY level just goes to prove this! I wonder if EA fancy litigation in future from PS3 users who keep having to stump up £30 every time they smash a controller in sheer frustration at the lazy, profiteering offering of FIFA11. Courts would be full if such a claim were allowed!
For so so many years FIFA and EA have been at the cutting edge of the football simulator. Myself having played every year that FIFA has existed. Unfortunately with every passing year now the game has become more about making extra cash for FIFA instead of providing an excellent and FUN experience of professional football on the PS3. Making sure you own a copy 'brand new' or stab you with an online charge is yet another blatantly obvious way to make money for the EA Fat Cat!
I with many, many others can only hope that this attitude will not continue in the future. I can see many going over to the dark side of PES or worse still simply moving on to other titles and leaving FIFA behind for good!!! COME ON EA sort it out and STOP ripping off your millions of loyal fans and players. TIME TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK......DON'T YOU THINK?????|||
|||I completely agree. In fact, I have already found myself moving on from FIFA11 and playing other games (such as BFBC2). It's diabolical EASPORTS. And im almost certain 12 will be exactly the same. Future looks bleak for the franchise unfortunately :) Not really much more I can say as the very 1st post in the thread says just about everything!|||
OMG If it wasn't bad enough having to put up with the sorry state of FIFA11 being nothing short of a half-arsed update of FIFA10 with any new feature only serving to make the game worse (CAREER MODE BEING AN ABSOLUTE EMBARRASSMENT TO E.A BY THE WAY) then along comes this years Ultimate Team!!
