FIFA 11 plays like rubbish since the 1.04 update

I know that this update is supposedly suppose to be an ultimate team update but I don't care what anyone says. The game play has definitely changed, and it has changed for the worst. The game has now reverted back to basketball style, up and down the field football that was FIFA 10. Tackling in general has gotten harder, and I don't mind that because I defend manually anyway, but the A.I. defense is now as awful as it was in FIFA 10, perhaps even worse. The defenders are not getting back to defend in time like they use to. I see my oponnents midfielders sprinting forward while mine are jogging?! The most blatant game play change I have noticed is that fewer passes are being intercepted and more passes are now magically getting by defenders legs, because of this I have seen more and more ping-pong passing as of late. Using the ultra attacking mentality almost guarantees that you will score a goal.
I am usually one to defend EA, but this was an awful choice. Please go back to version 1.03 or earlier. I certainly will not buy FIFA 12 if it plays like the current version of FIFA 11.|||

yeah that happened for me for 2 days then just returned back to normal I dont know why it just did I dont know what to suggest I wa sangry when that happened for me also but its gone and i have started to win a lot of games now (on a streak) but when it was fast could not tackle I lost a lot of games|||I hacen't noticed any big changes in FIFA 11 after the patch, to be honest. I played 3 matches yesterday and the gameplay was just about the same.
Cheers.|||There is no significant difference. It is same for me before the patch.|||I agree the defending is shocking! I feel like I have no control over it at all. It will make a riduculously impossible interception but only if they are right next to ball possessor, otherwise they are just standing there watching! I'm gonna record I game because no matter what I do the defenders will just randomly stop and then carry on their run at half the speed of the attacker so you can't get the ball. The defending is so so bad I nearly snapped my game disk so I never had to play a game that gets me this angry again. It would be better if the goal keeping was any good but I almost never see a keeper hold a ball, they always just pad it away like a * and giving away corners.
I feel like EA need to watch more football because this is getting beyond a joke it's almost unplayable|||And to top it all off the frequency of the micro-freeze has increased exponentially. Does anyone know how to uninstall these stupid updates and revert back to the first one only? (which seemed to be the best)
