UT GREAT players

It seems insane to me how any GREAT players on UT are already going for 30,000 coins or 60, 000 coins. I have been playing it in my free time and have a decent team to compete but almost none of my players are over 80 and i have payed around 2000 coins for most of them. How in the world can people afford a player that costs 60,000 let alone 990,000 for Ronaldo....
Do you guys just buy gold packs with real money or is there a technique that im not doing? Help me out here|||I spent around 10,000 or less and I beat nearly everyone with my team (that is not a boast) I can be beaten. Having lot of stars in your team often doesn't work. Honestly my Gold team is only four stars and all are ranked in the 70's
The trick is to build up a team of eleven players (same country) with the same formation and having a manager training using the same formation as your team. Players know what there task is then, and your team will defend like Champions for the 90 minutes, but you have to blend your team with the right players from the same country, some work and some don't, but I bet you if you do what, I say here, you'll get lots of wins!!|||question.. is there any hope for me finding the rare of the rare in my gold packs? or are they all gone?

I have been winning constantly, actually I have only lost one match, but I can assure you that if I had at least one star player I would destroy. But it looks like you have to put a LOOOOOOOT of hours in order to get any kind of star player or spend some of your personal money in order to get a star player|||Idk Phadunk, I can honestly say I dont use my coins for gold packages anymore I have used them for gold packs in FIFA 09, 10 and now 11 and I still haven't gotten a player over 80 to come in the golden packages. So I would not waste my coins or money in gold packs if i were you|||The whole point of UT is for the fan base, but also to make money, businesses don't make games for fun, they make them for profit welcome to Capitalism, and having price tag of over 60,000 on player, only way realistically to get that player, is win lot and get Microsoft points and hopefully find Messi in a pack, if that is anyway possible?|||well i currently have about 25k. and it all started after a few tournament wins.. and buying low, selling high. watching what players were having a good sell day.. and who wasnt.. and it really paid off.
and no.. not ridiculously high bids.. i deal fair and clean.. trying to make it fun for all. wont get into my secrets, etc.. but yeah.. its only my 2nd day on the UT also.. so im doing alllllll right.
my team is also in mid to high 70s. doing well with a 65 chemistry.. and a manager to suit it.
but ive definitely taken some risks and got a few lucky quick bids in and it really paid off.
im totally loving this ultimate team thing.. never understood it till this year.. or never cared really. but its really entertaining and fun.
i want to get into the big money soon.. and hope i get lucky with a solid gold player that is rare.. sell it for big.. and get into the top coin circle of dealing.. im sure i'll get there.
could talk about this stuff all day.
really want one of the rares.. just to know its possible. mainly in a pack.. (and no.. dont play this much.. just casually owning)
|||It is possible, I got a C.Ronaldo from a gold pack the other day, wasn't my formation so I sold him for like 325k and that has basically funded my whole squad. I was able to buy Ramos, Abidal, David Villa, Valdez and a couple others and still have plenty of coins left over.
That said, Im sure I just got really lucky. The chances of finding it I'm sure are pretty rare. My highest player I found before that point was Aaron Lennon I believe.|||kudos to that man.
i JUST won a CF Miccoli he has 87 pace, 85 shot, 88 dribble.. so hopefully i get some good money from him.
got an under the radar RB Fanni as well. 85 speed with great defense and heading. i should of put a higher buy now price on him.. but i felt 2,500 was a fair deal.|||Where the F is the ultimate team forum?? I cant find it for the life of me.
